It was automatic for me. I get a pop up preview of the message and a notification of the app/program. Check if it is blocked with your webpage pop up blocker or any anti virus or firewall software. ------------------------------ JASCO Insurance ------------------------------

Mine was stuck on that for about 10 minutes. I got tired of waiting and clicked refresh thinking the system was frozen and whatever it was stuck on seemed to fix itself and I was able to send SMS. I was having a similar issue for awhile and I ended up having to turn off the firewall and it seemed to work. I have since turned it back on and had to install the app on my phone to answer calls. 8x8 support was no help to me with this issue.
