We have some Poly Studio X devices setup as Teams Rooms. We are currently using the Teams Room Standard license which includes Phone System where we can add a Dial Plan. This enables the Dial Pad on the device so we can make standard calls from the device.
MS eliminated the Teams Room Standard license ($15) and our choices now are the free Basic license without the phone option or pay $40 + calling plan for the Pro license. I see on the device I can manually fill in some SIP settings so I was wondering if anyone is tying these devices to their 8x8 tenant to use 8x8 for calls? I would prefer to use 8x8 just for the ability to transfer calls to the conference rooms.
