Hi all,

Has anyone implemented an alternate Wallboard solution to the built in 8x8 dashboards, using the streaming API?

I find the built-in dashboards great when viewing on a PC, but quiet painful on a central TV.

Thank you for your post, as the streaming API is for Contact Centers it is assumed you looking to have a custom CC Wallboard built. We have an API suite for this purpose and would recommend using our real time stats API. 

Real Time Statistics Reporting API for 8x8 Contact Center

It is designed for this purpose as the streaming API has a maximum of 3 subscriptions allowed which will limit its used across multiple screens.  The other limitation of the streaming API is that you will require formular's to compute the various Metrix that is common with wallboards.

Please Reach out to the 8x8 support team should you need further guidance and assistance with the use of these API's and any other questions you may have around these.

Ahh yes yes. I have that API in my mix. Cheers for the head up. You wouldn't happen to know of a cloud or local app which is designed to refresh an API and display data would you... :)

Hi Ben,

I also have a customer who has a similar issue. The wallboard data disappears (whilst refreshing) and this doesnt lead to a great experience. Are you having this type of problem? My customer is running a raspberry pi as an access pc for the board, so I am wondering if it is specific to the graphics card (or lack of). I am having a call with my customers AV people today to see if we have a workaround of some description.
