So, after a recent update from the 8x8 mobile app, the Samsung Galaxy S21+ Android smartphone continues to have a problem hanging up calls placed via Bluetooth (use this all the time while driving, for example). Phone calls come in and phone calls are placed with no issues. The phone conversations are fine. The problem is hanging up. After hanging up the 8x8 app puts the phone into a call waiting mode. This disables all other Bluetooth audio sources from working until the Bluetooth radio is turned off from the phone and turned back on and then pairing can reoccur and everything works just fine until another 8x8 call through the mobile app. This is a problem, and it is hard to stay focused while driving when I'm expecting Spotify, iHeartRadio, or Google Maps to start working again automatically. This happens in every vehicle and with every Bluetooth enabled device I've tested the 8x8 mobile app against.
