  • 1.  Voting Mechanism for enhancements

    I'm new to this community . . . is there a mechanism within the community where members can suggest enhancements and other members can add their support for the enhancement.  Many vendors have such a feature.    I've been told by 8x8 that unless they receive significant support for a proposed feature it's likely not to make the futures list so looking for a method to create this significant support.

    Hi David,

    Great idea. We can submit feature enhancements (How to Submit Product Enhancement Request via 8x8 Products) but I haven't seen an an official voting mechanism as you've described. 

    What we have done through the community is to share a particular experience, need or problem and have others chime in. 

    That in itself becomes the voice for user feedback. 

    There's always room for improvement and I appreciate your thoughts on this subject.

    Hi,
    I am also new to 8x8 and was looking for something along the same lines - somewhere to see if someone has already requested a feature I am also looking for or to be able to vote / gain votes on a feature request.

    Additionally, I can't see where we can track feature requests we have put forward. How will we know if anything submitted has been rejected or taken forward?

    It does seem standard in other areas and so was surprised not to see something similar here, unless it's something I've missed?

    There's little appetite for this unfortunately. I asked our account team 6-9 months ago for this very thing, given it's common in the industry, and was told no.
