Whilst there is no direct way to transfer ownership of a report per se, the majority of perks that a report owner has are transferrable by simply sharing the report.
Sharing a report comes with 2 limitations that need to be considered: the initial persons added to the distribution list cannot be deleted/removed (but new recipients can be added) & if the original user that created the report is deleted, the schedule cannot be altered.
A workaround for altering the schedule is to have one of the users who the report was shared with create a new schedule with the caveat that this would be considered a brand new scheduled report.

I know reports can be shared/ copied but if someone leaves the company who has historic reports that are scheduled for multiple recipients is there no way to just transfer ownership of that report to another user?
We would find this useful as we frequently set up reports for different departments but need them to then copy the report and set up their own schedule when we could do it all for them and then transfer ownership.
