I'm part of a ring group in my office so incoming calls come to my desk as well as direct dial calls. When I used the Fuze app I was able to only get direct dialed calls on my cell phone using the app and ring group calls did not come through it. Now that we've switched to 8x8 and I am using the new app EVERY call comes through the app which I don't want, only people that dial my number or extension directly. I use that function to field important calls while I'm away from my desk and when the main line is forwarded to our on call provider in the evening. I'm not seeing a way set only direct dial calls to ring on the app, only turning calls/notifications off for all calls. Is there a way to set this option so I don't get ring group calls on my android phone?

This would greatly help us set this up for other users. An option for ring group or direct extension calls in the mobile app would be ideal, though it may not be implemented. If anyone has a workaround that doesn't require removing the extension from the ring group or using multiple extensions (one for a soft phone and another for a physical device), that would be fantastic!

I believe 8x8 Work Call Queues could work for this use case.

The call queue member can login and out of the queue from their 8x8 Work app.

I'm not aware of any other way to easily solve for your use case in the 8x8 Work (UC) only ecosystem.
