We did try the Poly Y splitter, but it did not work. Short of purchasing numerous specialized training headsets, I haven't found a viable analog option. If anyone has a recommendation on headsets this will work on, I'm open.

I apologize if I'm missing the point. And, this maybe overly obvious. But, a USB-->analog--> Y-splitter for the headsets isn't an option in this case?
This is how I recall being trained year ago. I just sat next the agent and we both wore headsets that shared a common connection to the PC.

This may be oddly specific, but in our call center, we prefer to have the trainee or shadow sitting next to the call center representative, but able to listen to the calls through their own headset. Historically, we have synced the headsets to each other so both could hear the conversations, but this functionality is becoming rare. With the 8x8 monitoring feature, the trainee/shadow has to be at their own computer to answer the calls. Is there any way to accomplish what we are hoping?
