  • 1.  8x8 Work Application Adjusts Mic Sensitivity When That Setting Is Disabled

    Anyone else experiencing this issue? I have users reporting that folks on the other side of the line can't hear them, so I turned on AGC and cranked the mic sensitivity up to 100 in Windows 11 settings. That mic level holds at 100 in Windows 11 until I run the 8x8 Work Application and then it starts automatically lowering the mic level. I also did go into edge://flags and disabled WebRTC audio functions, which some folks recommended.

    The setting to "Automatically adjust mic sensitivity" is disabled. It does it anyway. Help!

    Switching to the web application seems to circumvent this bug with the Windows application.

    It's ridiculous we have to do that for such a basic setting.

    This will most likely require support and/or engineering to investigate, diagnose, and fix; I see that your company uses 8x8 through a re-seller.
