 Static Calls

Good Day, 

We haev been having alot of Static on our calls, 8x8 is saying its not on their end. We use teams as a phone, we haev tried with a cellphone and it is the same thing, just not as bad as well as different headset, web version vs destop version. This is affecting anyone who is using 8x8. Anyone experience this or have solutions?

Hello Brittney,

The causes of static noise on your calls may vary and require some level of troubleshooting to determine the cause. I observed you stating that you already used different endpoints with the same result.
The next things to look at would probably be networking or signaling issues, extension investigation, and more. 8x8 support can conduct all of the above if you raise a case with us (https://support.8x8.com/), or if you are an end customer of one of 8x8's partners, please raise the issue with them.

HI there, I'm not sure how to reply to you Alina, I have opened a ticket with bell who then i believe reaches out to 8x8, and they came back and said that it's not a bell issue even though you can hear it on some of the call recordings. We have checked the connection, and we are directly connected to the internet, not on wifi. We are getting a 205.00 MBPS download and a 324.2 MBPS Upload. 

I also can't access your support as it said that there is an authentication, Error. I actually don't think we have or were given a login for your support site at all. IM not sure if you're an 8x8 employee or not, but i would love to connect with you if you are to discuss this further.
