Is it possible for an admin to see which users voicemail boxes are full?

And while we are at it, can we see which boxes are being used (last accessed), or which have a security code or personal greeting recorded in them? I suspect that a large number of my users have never set up their voicemail boxes even though they were instructed to do so and were provided instructions.

This would be very useful to have for our company too as I believe I have asked about this but it's currently not possible.

I have asked for this before, but was told it was not possible at this time. I am hoping it is on an enhancement list somewhere because it takes a lot of time to go into each account to see if there is a voicemail greeting. Our supervisors have been asking for this type of report so they can hold their direct reports accountable.

yes, this use-case does some up from time-to-time.  "How do I know who's setup their VM boxes, or not?"

Unfortunately, there isn't a good report for this (yet) outside of professional services custom work.  But,  here's something that might help a little.  It's not going to get you the exact information you want, but it may give you enough to zero-in on individuals who have never access their VM.

    1.  Go into "Analytics for 8x8 Work" (you'll to have it enabled in your user profile).

    2. Under the Call Reports tab on the left, choose Call Detail Records

    3. Do a search for the last few months (or whatever time period) and set the Search Criteria to
"Callee is Voicemail"  (Voicemail is Case-sensitive)

This should give you a report of all the extensions which have accessed the Voicemail.  Look for the Call Duration as a clue to whether or not they've been in there long enough to do any meaningful setup.

All great ideas for improving voicemail administration. In addition to posting feedback on the forum, let’s submit this request to the app developers citing specifics you like to see and screenshots to reference.

If they receive enough feedback from the community, then maybe we’ll see this implemented in future updates.

Here’s the instructions on how to do this. I’ve already submitted my input.
