Our company has asked for inbound only call recording in 8x8 Work (non-contact center). For legal purposes, our company does not want to record outbound calls because of two party notification laws.
I have asked 8x8 multiple times to accommodate this feature (there is a competing cloud solution that does offer this feature) - but have not had any luck from 8x8.
Perhaps our voices will get through on this thread to the proper people at 8x8 to make this happen?

We are facing a challenge in recording calls on 8x8. Multiple support tickets have been replied to saying the only option is to do this on a by-user level. The current options are record all calls, allow user to record calls selectively and do not record calls. The built-in messaging "This call is being recorded" has been reported by our users as jarring to their clients. Ideally, we would like to be able to record all inbound calls to a specified ring group or groups, since our auto-attendant message covers the "This call may be recorded" messaging for these groups. Has anyone had success with recording calls based on direction and/or ring group? Thanks!
