I have had this issue. We cannot remove it at the front end but 8x8 support can remove at the backend. Push back on their support and they should be able to complete for you. Good luck.

I was following along with a recent webinar on Tips & Tricks. I went into the Devices section of the Admin Console and was testing the ability to add devices. I picked a device at random and now I cannot remove the device. Customer Support says "there's no option to delete a device". Seriously?!
