  • 1.  8x8 Advanced Admin Tips and Tricks

    I am looking for information regarding the admin features that 8x8 does not display in their KBs. I know there are features and URLs that point to hidden flags within the admin console. Is this information not to be shared with the clients? This seems to be anti-productive. Does anyone have knowledge of this topic?

    My best advice here is that although there are "hidden URLs", it's mainly because some of the features appear to be not developed to be customer facing.
    What specific features are you looking for?
    I propose we start creating feature request forum threads to try to get community support.

    I am not looking for anything specific but do have a few already. Mostly trying to figure out what admin features i am not taking advantage of today that other power users may be aware of.

    There are two that we are aware of that we use.

     

    1. Bulk Edit via CSV - https://admin.8x8.com/?on=sho0044wBulkEditUsersCSV
    2. Override 911 location - https://admin.8x8/?on=showUseAddressAsIs

     

    If you find out about more it would be interesting to know.

    I have one that is helpful to me and my group.

    You can "delete" public chat rooms with this link: Collabor8 (8x8.com)

    We require all of our group chats to be private but some public ones are still created from time to time.
