Re-Use your existing Device
Many people are asking how do I/can I re-use my existing device. The answer is in many cases YES, YES you can re-use your existing device but it all starts with factory default. Factory default is probably the most important part of the process as this removes all previous configurations that *MAY* interfere with 8c8's configuration. When you re-provision your device with 8x8, 8x8 will only update the settings used by 8x8, which may leave previous settings in place that may interfere with its operation.
ZTP
One exception is ZTP. If your device was previously provisioned with ZTP from another provider, this will cause some issues, but there are 2 options to overcome this. First, have the device re-associated with 8x8's ZTP (Still requires a factory default) or Second use our recommendations for
ZTP override.
