  • 1.  The first call of the day does not ring for agents

    8x8 is integrated with Salesforce, and users accessing 8x8 in Chrome experience an issue where the first call of the day does not ring. Upon reporting this to 8x8, they mentioned it is due to a browser limitation related to Chrome's Autoplay policy https://developer.chrome.com/blog/autoplay

    However, upon reviewing the documentation, it is recommended to use Audio/Video elements in the code. We highly recommend that 8x8 correct this issue to ensure agents do not miss calls when routing through 8x8.
