Team, the network utility test would have found your ALG issue (and since SRTP is enabled by default for quite some time ALG should not have been an issue unless you manually disabled the default setting). As for the timer, that cannot be tested by any known testing software out, and would be surprised ...

Another option is to manage this directly in WorkD using "Shared Phone numbers" See https://support.8x8.com/cloud-phone-service/voice/admin-console/setup/phone-numbers/How_to_Set_a_Phone_Number_as_an_External_Caller_ID

I am not 100% on your use case but you can use the callto protocol included with WorkD to achieve this. callto://4155551212/+18880001111 4155551212 is your contact's phone number +18880001111 is the Caller ID number Here is an example in Salesforce

Windows Defender by default will allow 8x8 work traffic out, if you have modified it, I would recommend looking at the technical requirements doc to understand how your modifications would impact 8x8 work. Also ensure you allowed work to egress through your firewall. see below images

Using the Network Requirements Doc Many times I get a request to get a "subset" of subnets that 8x8 uses for one reason or another, usually in relation to configuring firewalls. There are several tools built into the Network Requirements document that allows for filtering and exporting the subnets. ...

Loud Ringing A common issue is in back offices, warehouses, and others; when a phone is placed out there, it never rings loud enough to be heard over all the noise or at the back of the area. A while back, I posted an article on Overhead Paging. It hints on the Algo's ability to be used as a Loud Ring ...

88 Second Guides For me, the 88-second guides are an overlooked source of information and training. No one wants to sit through hours of training, or even run a 30 min training at 2x speed to find out how to do the one simple task they are looking for. 8x8's 88-second guides are exactly that 88-second ...
