Turns out, they just released this feature. If you go to your My Contacts and choose add contacts from 3rd party.... you scroll all the way to the bottom, you should now see an option to import contacts from CSV.

hey team,
I'm piggy-backing on Pat's comment. Not because I have the same issue, but my request is highly related. My 8x8 admin wants to import WORK My Contacts which were previously exported from RING in CSV format. I confirmed with support there is not a way to do that (today) except by bringing the contacts CSV file into Google or Outlook first. (not a great solution).
I also asked support if there was an existing Feature Enhancement Request, the reply I got was this:
Regarding a formal feature request, you can submit feedback and vote on existing requests through the 8x8 Community at community.8x8.com. This is the recommended channel for product feature suggestions and allows the product team to gauge customer interest.
So, this is my official request to create the Feature Enhancement Request. Or, if one exists please tell me the # so I can give this back to the admin.

For any contact that you've added individually, you can edit those directly in 8x8 Work for Desktop.
- In 8x8 Work for Desktop, go to Contacts > My Contacts, and locate the contact you want to edit. Contacts that you've added individually, when you hover you will see More Options (three dots) to the right of the contact.
- Select More Options, then select Edit.
- Make your changes and select Save.
Contacts that were imported will have an icon noting where they were imported from (Google Contacts, for example), and an info icon to the right when you hover. Any contacts that were imported will need to be edited at the source from which they were imported. Then at the top of the My Contacts tab, you can select Refresh to sync the new information.

Hi Jessica,
Both, once you add a contact there doesn't seem to be away to edit or delete.

Hi Pat! Were the contacts added individually or imported through a third party app?
