 8x8 Salesforce intergation

I am currently migrating my CRM to salesforce. I have an 8x8 system already set up.

I don't use the softphone that often, currently use a Cisco handset. 

Once the 8x8 has been integrated with Salesforce, will the details of calls I make through my handset be populated on salesforce, or does this only work through the softphone?

Thank you for reaching out. 

I can confirm that as soon as you have integrated 8x8 with salesforce the details of the calls you make through your handset will populate onto Salesforce.

That is correct @Zoe Birch for clarity this was called out in the install guide if you are looking for "documentation". For reference, the install guide(s) if you need them.
